EXCLUSIVE: Ministers in fresh LEP overlap threat

Ministers have again threatened to withhold funding from local enterprise partnerships (LEP) that fail to remove overlapping boundaries, The MJ has learnt.

In a letter, local growth minister Jake Berry and business minister Nadhim Zahawi said a ‘confirmed final proposal’ for removing boundary overlaps must be received from LEPs by the General Election on December 12.
