Fair funding review 'credibility' warning

The fair funding review could ‘lack credibility’ unless the Government steps up efforts to gather the most up-to-date data.

In written evidence to the Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee, the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) said some of the data underpinning the review was ‘not particularly timely,’ with some figures eight-years-old.
