Fine holds back Serco profits

A £20m fine has hit otherwise strong results by Serco in the first half of 2019.

Revenue rose to £1.48bn compared to £1.37bn last year, but reported pre-tax profits were £6.7m - down from £25.6m in the same period in 2018.
