Ofsted’s senior adviser on looked-after children has warned of an ‘urgent’ need to recruit more foster carers.
Matthew Brazier, specialist adviser at Ofsted, said the organisation’s annual report on fostering for 2016/17 ‘echoes the ongoing challenge’ outlined by a recent independent review that highlighted the difficulty in ensuring there are enough households available for children.
