A breakaway group of councils is poised to rejoin the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) after recent changes in political leadership.
Four former Labour-led authorities – Glasgow, Aberdeen, Renfrewshire and South Lanarkshire – left COSLA following a dispute in 2015.
