A major procurement of audit services for local government bodies designed to encourage and support the development of a more sustainable market has been launched.
Public Sector Audit Appointments (PSAA) is looking for suppliers interested in auditing council accounts, with more than 200 eligible bodies having already decided to opt into its scheme and a further 95 signalling their intention to do so out of 487 eligible bodies.
