The planning system has been branded a 'shambles’ regarding biodiversity.
Speaking at The MJ's Future Forum this afternoon, David Hill, chairman of the Environment Bank, a diversified land investment firm, said biodiversity had been regarded as something ‘nice to have’ while the environment was treated as a 'charity case’.
