‘Give firms accurate bills,’ authorities told

Ministers should ensure all firms that qualify for local business rates support receive help within a month after the General Election, business leaders have told The MJ.

Delayed guidance from the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), combined with a prolonged purdah period covering local and national government elections, means some businesses have still not received accurate bills from their local authorities.
