'Good settlement fails to make up for austerity'

The Welsh Government has confirmed funding for councils, with the publication of the final local government settlement.

Its final budget includes £4.65bn for unitary authorities in 2021-22 in core revenue funding and business rates, an increase of 3.8% on a like-for-like basis compared to the current year.
