Hackney LBC has launched its own energy company in a bid to reduce the borough’s carbon footprint.
The unveiling of Hackney Light and Power in Spring next year will be accompanied by the start of the council’s plans to install rooftop solar panels across the borough on a grand scale to generate clean energy.
