Havant BC’s longest serving member of staff, John Thompson has retired after clocking up 48 years’ service.
Mr Thompson started work aged 16 for Havant and Waterloo Urban District Council as a technical services assistant in 1971. He was presented with a long service certificate and crystal cut glasses during a recent full council meeting.
