The Government has issued an improvement notice to Herefordshire Council over ‘serious concerns’ regarding children’s services.
Sparked by a damning High Court judgement handed down last month, the notice cites ‘failures in the leadership and management’, ‘evidence of poor-decision making’ and ‘drift and delay in some historic cases’.
