A dramatic increase in complaints has been reported to the housing ombudsman service, MPs have been told.
Housing ombudsman Richard Blakeway told the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee there had been an ‘unprecedented’ volume of complaints in the last year, and the number of orders and recommendations issued had doubled in the last two years.
