Hughes and Goldsworthy join new finance commission

An ex-boss of Birmingham City Council has been appointed to a commission charged with finding ways to provide billions of pounds for the West Midlands.

Stephen Hughes will join former Treasury special adviser and devolution driver at consultancy PwC Julia Goldsworthy on the new West Midlands Funding Commission.
