Hybrid hopes raised by Gove

Hopes that the Government will change the law to allow hybrid meetings have been raised by an intervention from new secretary of state Michael Gove.

Speaking virtually himself at a Local Government Association (LGA) councillors’ forum, Mr Gove said: ‘We must keep the capacity for hybrid meetings.

'My starting point based on my own experience is that hybrid is definitely a way of improving participation.’
