Improving the candidate experience

Despite an abundance of applications for some roles, good people are still scarce and, for many councils, attracting and engaging the best talent for specialist roles remains a challenge.

Even when the right candidate is found it is not certain whether they will accept the job.

When applicants are initially attracted to an employer but receive a poor experience during the recruitment process, the organisation loses engagement with that individual – potentially forever.
