Integration offers chance to invest in prevention

A new approach to investing in prevention can be achieved through the integration of health and care systems, according to a report.

The shift to integration offers a chance to take a whole system, place-based approach to evaluating the costs and benefits of investment in prevention, according to the study jointly published today by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) and Public Health England (PHE).
