I don’t mind the politicians banging on about levelling up if it keeps them occupied and out of my hair but I do get the hump when they start poking their noses into our business and telling us how to run our lives.
I mean this waffle I read about ‘reducing health inequalities’ is a pile of the steaming brown stuff dreamed up by vegan do-gooders in Whitehall who’ve never ever ventured into a Gregg’s and smelt the scent of a newly warmed up dog roll dropped into a crisp white paper bag with a side sachet of brown sauce.
