Milton Keynes’ corporate director for people caused a stir when he blogged that the history of sector-led improvement (SLI) could be explained using Kylie song titles.
Michael Bracey’s blog, written in his capacity as co-chair of the south-east region of the Association of Directors of Children’s Services, argued that while it may make some councils uncomfortable to ask peers to Come Into My World SLI is a case of Better the Devil You Know.
