A judge has called for more support from the Government to fund secure placements for vulnerable children.
Mr Justice Poole made the comments in a court of protection case in which an English council said it had to pay £60,000 a week for a ‘wholly unsuitable’ placement for a teenage girl after being rejected by hundreds of providers.
