Judge to investigate Bury chief’s suspension

Bury MBC has appointed a deputy High Court judge to investigate the circumstances behind the suspension of its chief executive.

Charles Bourne QC, an experienced employment law barrister at 11 King’s Bench Walk chambers in London, has been asked to deliver an independent report into the conduct of Mike Owen and two other suspended senior officers.
