Liverpool is under pressure to answer questions about its appointment of an interim chief and what senior figures knew about allegations against two former executives.
A letter sent to Liverpool’s city solicitor by Lib Dem leader, Cllr Richard Kemp, demanded greater transparency from the authority, including elected mayor Joe Anderson, following the resignation this week of chief executive Ged Fitzgerald.
