Khan talks extremism with LGA

Britain’s commissioner for countering extremism met with senior sector figures yesterday to discuss concerns over long-term funding and the response to the far-right threat.

Sara Khan, appointed head of the Commission for Countering Extremism in January, reiterated her commitment to working with councils at the latest meeting of the Local Government Association’s (LGA) safer and stronger communities board.
