Kier share price slumps to new low

Shares in Kier Group fell to a record low this week after two influential fund managers cut their stakes in the outsourcing specialist.

The share price dropped to 73p on Monday following moves by Neil Woodford and St James Place to reduce their stakes in Kier, which is heavily involved in a number of property partnerships, waste collection, highways and facilities maintenance contracts with local authorities.
