LEPs to be strengthened

The Government plans to strengthen the role of local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) as part of a review of their future role.

A letter from LEP minister Jake Berry and business minister Margot James, seen by The MJ, said the Government wanted to explore ways of putting the organisations on a more consistent legal footing.
