LGA asks for review of revaluation deadline change

Proposed changes to business rates revaluations would prove ‘incredibly problematic’ for councils, it has been claimed.

The Local Government Association (LGA) has asked for a review of proposals to move the deadline for draft rateable values from September 30 to December 31 as part of the Non-Domestic Rating (Lists) Bill.
