Lambeth concern at public inspection of finances

Lambeth LBC has raised objections with legislation passed in 2014 that allows the public to inspect local government finances.

The objections with the Local Audit and Accountability Act have been raised in a report compiled by the council’s corporate committee, which will discuss proposals to take forward its concerns with the Government at a meeting tomorrow.
