Landmark planning victory

Cheshire East Council has claimed victory in a landmark legal case despite being forced to allow a developer to proceed with a housing project.

Following a complex three-year legal case heard by the Supreme Court, judges dismissed joint appeals made by Cheshire East and Suffolk Coastal DC against developers Richborough Estates and Hopkins Homes.
