London boroughs’ £209m Veolia deal

Waste services firm Veolia has signed a £209m eight-year contract with four south London boroughs under which 330 new staff will join the firm.

The deal, which also includes scope for two eight-year contract extensions, will involve the immediate delivery of new waste collection and recycling services in Sutton LBC, as well as the continuation of current services in Merton LBC.
