‘Long way to go’ for fiscal devo

A ‘world of far-reaching, competitive fiscal devolution’ is some way off, according to new analysis by the House of Commons Library.

The paper on the local government finance system by researcher Mark Sandford looked at the impact of revenue support grant being cut to zero by 2020 and the introduction of 100% business rates retention.
