MPs have called for separate government reviews of local enterprise partnerships (LEP) and the business rates system as part of the industrial strategy.
A report today by the Business Committee said LEPs should be reviewed to ‘ensure that needless duplication is avoided, best practice is shared and value for money is secured’.
