MPs launch missing children inquiry

MPs have today launched an inquiry into the increasing number of children being placed in homes out of their boroughs.

The All Party Parliament Group for Runaway and Missing Children and Adults said children placed far away from home are vulnerable to being exploited by gangs, drug traffickers and paedophiles. The inquiry will analyse these risks and suggest what can be done to mitigate them.
