Medway given six months to turn around children's services

Medway Council could lose control of its children’s services unless it improves standards within the next six months.

Until then, commissioner Eleanor Brazil has recommended that a leadership improvement partner be appointed to try to turn around children’s social care in Medway, which was rated inadequate by Ofsted in July for the second time in five years.
