While the delays to the publication of the Government’s social care green paper disappointed the sector it did at least provide some entertaining metaphors from commentators.
Many questioned the wisdom of handing £20bn to the NHS while not promising any resources to social care, public health and other institutions attempting to prevent rather than cure.
