Middlesbrough in staff shuffle as council makes budget cuts

Middlesbrough Council’s directly-elected mayor has announced plans to bring at least 350 staff back in-house from the local authority’s partnership with Mouchel.

Ray Mallon announced the move as part of a wider set of budget proposals on 22 October, which will save the council a total of £14m in 2015/16.
