Minister in fresh parks plea

Local government minister Simon Clarke has urged English council leaders to make sure parks remain open during the coronavirus pandemic.

In a letter, he said it was important for councils to manage the social distancing requirements ‘in the most practicable way while allowing people to take exercise’.
