Minister in talks to place more ‘Dubs children’ in care of UK authorities

Immigration minister Brandon Lewis travelled to Greece and Italy this week to discuss placing more ‘Dubs children’ in the care of British local authorities.

Home Office ministers last week came under parliamentary pressure to hit their target of transferring 480 unaccompanied migrant children who have reached Europe into the care of councils.
