Ministers to 'review local government taxation'

Senior ministers have told the sector they are in favour of looking at local government taxation, The MJ understands.

However, the issue is unlikely to be discussed in Whitehall ahead of next year’s Spending Review, which is expected to take place in or close to spring, when the UK is scheduled to leave the EU.
