Ministers urged to ‘protect EU citizens’ employment rights’

A major local government partner has urged ministers to protect the rights of EU nationals already working in the UK ahead of Brexit.

Aecom, the multinational construction and engineering firm, reacted swiftly to prime minister Theresa May’s decision to trigger Article 50 last week – calling on ministers to address the uncertainties it will create for public sector employers and their commercial partners.
