Narrowing the digital divide

Young people were one of the groups hit hardest by COVID lockdowns. Countless studies show that restrictions impacted the mental health, social connectivity, education and career opportunities of teenagers and people in their early twenties throughout the UK.

In Sefton, Merseyside, these effects were felt sharply by many of the 24,600 people aged 16-24 living here.
