The organisation representing council finance officers has updated its ethics guidance as the pressure grows on public sector accountants.
Bosses at the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) have introduced the guidance from this month to ‘help provide clarity and support for members to meet global ethical standards and best practice’.
