Northants commissioners plead for patience

Commissioners appointed to stabilise Northamptonshire CC this week asked for patience amid snowballing member frustrations about the way they have operated since taking office.

Senior councillors from the three major parties questioned the commitment of the two commissioners - Tony McArdle and Brian Roberts – after they failed to attend a meeting of Northamptonshire’s full council last week.
