Levelling up minister Neil O’Brien has denied the spring statement ignored the Government’s flagship policy and claimed levelling up is about the ‘totality of public spending’.
Speaking at an Institute for Government event, Mr O’Brien defended last week’s fiscal event against criticism that it failed to add anything to the levelling up agenda.
