Independent research has found Dundee City Council’s participatory budgeting (PB) was an ‘outstanding success’ that should act as an inspiration to other local authorities.
Some 11,500 people – including 40% from the 11 to 25 age group - took part in Dundee Decides, which helped direct how the council spent its £1.2m community infrastructure fund.
