Peer review proposal for pensions

The Local Government Association peer review programme could be expanded to include council pension schemes, a new report has suggested.

It is one proposal in a report to the scheme advisory board on good governance in the local government pension scheme (LGPS) by working groups, which urged statutory guidance detailing the standards that LGPS funds are expected to meet.
