Pressure mounts for extension of Grenfell cladding fund

MPs have called for more funds to be released to pay for the replacement of flammable cladding on high-rise buildings.

In a House of Commons debate called by Labour’s Hilary Benn, members called for an extension of the £200m fund available to homeowners to replace aluminium composite material (ACM) cladding of the type used on Grenfell Tower.
