Preston steps in to take over struggling Guild Hall

Councillors in Preston have taken back control of the city’s Guild Hall - five years after selling the venue.

The Guild Hall closed in May, shortly before the owner, Preston Guild Hall, went into administration.

Administrator Beverley Budsworth then returned the 999-year lease to Preston City Council.
