Prevent needs foster carers to be included

Foster carers need to be urgently included in the Government’s Prevent programme, a membership organisation for individuals working with children in care has urged.

Director of policy, research and development at CoramBAAF, John Simmonds, has written to the Department for Education to press the Government on the training and support foster carers need to help young people at risk of being radicalised.
