Probe into pension boards’ efficiency

The effectiveness and operational efficiency of local pension boards will be tested by a survey two years on from their creation.

A paper to the latest meeting of the local government pension scheme advisory board (SAB) said the survey on the new governance arrangements would place ‘particular emphasis on the role and function of local pension boards and interaction with their administering authority’.
