Regeneration project to continue despite costs doubling to £193m

Birmingham City Council has received the green light to borrow £50m to continue a flagship regeneration project after costs doubled.

The future of the Paradise Birmingham joint venture had been in doubt after the £87.79m budget was spent before the completion of the first of three phases.
